For unregulated categories (Body & Mind, Pets, Tech, Family), we verify identity and rely on community ratings. We don't accept hosts with active disbarments, suspended licenses, or unresolved complaints from prior pro-bono platforms.

You host on your own Zoom — the platform you already know. We handle discovery, the Q&A queue, anonymous questions, and the room around it. That's it.

How tips work
Tips go straight to you.
Zero platform fee.
Tips are voluntary and rare-ish — most viewers just say thank you. When someone does tip, you get every dollar of your share. probono.live never charges a fee on top.
At checkout, viewers see a toggle to share 25% of their tip with probono.live to cover Stripe fees and keep the platform free. When they opt in, $7.50 of a $10 tip is yours and $2.50 is ours. When they don't, you get the full $10.
